Structure Determination of Syringopicroside from the Leaves of Syringa Oblata Lindl. using 2D NMR Spectral Methods

Abstract: A compound was extracted from the leaves of Syringa Oblata Lindl. and identified as syringopicroside. Its
structure determination was based on 1H, 13C NMR spectral measurements. In this study, proton and carbon
signals were assigned by means of 2D NMR spectral methods and an error involving the preferred
conformation in an earlier publication was corrected at same time.
