Abstract: A C-19 steriod was isolated from the roots of Cynanchum amplexicaule (Sieb. et Zucc.) and its structure was established as 17-oxo-D-homo-1, 4, 6-androstatrien-3, 17-dione on the basis of spectral data. The complete assignment of its 1H and 13C NMR spectral signals was determined by 2D NMR spectral methods.
